The Podere di Pietra Marina, located on the north side of Mount Etna, at about 550 meters above sea level, is devoted to the cultivation of the native red grapes Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio. This is the ideal environment for these vineyards to grow and develop. In this land of volcanic origin, they find the right minerals to produce excellent quality fruits. Most of the grapes used to produce Etna Doc Rosso wine come from these vineyards. In the specific we obtain the Etna Rosso Tenute Mannino from Plachi and the Etna Rosso Vasadonna Riserva.

The Etna Rosso Vasadonna Riserva is aged in oak barrels for five years and refined in bottle. We obtain a wine with a fruity aroma, a full and deep taste with a bright red color. In order to obtain the Etna Rosso Tenute Mannino dei Plachi wine it needs a period of maceration of must at controlled temperature, a two-year maturation in oak barrels and a six-month refinement in bottle. The result is a spicy and aromatic wine.
